Answer:
Good Question!
I'm starting day 5 and am numb basically from my rib cage to to bottom of my butt. One thing I did not consider that was just mentioned on another post is that we need to be careful of creases or areas that might get sores from rubbing against the , drainage tubes, or tight clothing.
Answer:
I am 18dpo today and I'm only numb right under my belly button to my incision - about a 3in wide strip. Everything else has come back - doesn't feel completely normal but the feeling has come back. My on my hips is sort of numb and that is driving me crazy because I can't feel if my pants are staying up I'm hoping full sensation comes back because it is a really weird feeling and I know what you mean about it feeling bigger than it really is. Mine sometimes feels like it's going to pop and then I look in the mirror and all is well
Answer:
I am 14 months PO and am still very numb also. I think it is the area where the was lifted to tighten the muscles. Mine is from above my BB down to the incision line. It also makes me feel like I am bigger than i am, plus I do still feel a bit swelled there - when I press it, it's tight and hard. I've gotten use to the feeling, pretty much, and it's not much of an issue any more. I've heard that the feeling can still come back at any time, so i'm hopeful.
Answer:

Answer:
My good friend had her surgery 5 years ago and never regained feeling around her belly button area. I am 3 months out and still can't feel my incision line, my hips and a spot about the size of my hand on the front top portion of my leg. It did bother me early on, but I think I have gotten use to it and I guess I just ignore it these days. I do know what you mean about feeling heavier! I still reach down to feel my tummy thinking it is somehow rolling over my jeans again, much to my pleasure it is not! I think a little numbness is such a small price to pay for a flat belly! Gale
Answer:
Mine is pretty much back.. I have at least some feeling all over now.
When I had my hyst, I remember around the 2 yr mark thinking it had all come back, and I just didn't notice when.
Answer:
I'm still numb too. When I had my BA (5 years ago) my tits were numb for about 3 months, but the numbess wore off. I think I'm more concerned with swelling than anything. I just want to be FLAT. My left side is fine. My right side where I started out w/ a dog ear - but it flattened out - is tender sometimes. Not all the time. I'm numb straight down the front of my body. Right below my breasts to the top of my pubic area. But I feel like it gets better day after day. Thankfully I can heal all winter, and when the summer returns I'll be ready to show my Flat Tummy (and Tits) to the world.
Answer:
Hopefully my feeling will come back, but if not, sounds like it wont bother me any more. And yes, I agree. It's worth the flat tummy

Now it seems like just the is numb, I can't feel light touch, but any pressure at all I can feel. I really don't notice it much anymore
Answer:
I'm 8 weeks and the numbness is just around my belly button so the feeling is coming back.
