Question:
Im pretty amazed at the PS today. He covered everything and even prescribed me 3 xanax for pre surgery jitters.
Im scheduled for 7:30am 9/15 I have to be at the surgery center at 6:30am
I was told to bring loose clothes to wear home. A pair of bikini underwear or bikini bottoms so he will know where I want the incision line to fall.
Oh- I can take a shower the day I do my post op apt which will be on the monday following my tt/mr/.
He said he will get the upper abs the flanks hips and bra roll. Not to buy another until after the post op apt so he can tell me what he thinks I will need as well as the size he thinks I should buy!
Got vicoden for pain??? Not sure thats going to be enough but hey I know my DH will call if its not.
Got phenergan supositorys for Nausea and vomiting ( FUN!!_)
Cipro for antibiotic.
Blood was drawn.
I was told to buy saftey pins, belt like the kind for a robe, long t-shirts or tank tops and granny panies for the drains.
This to be brought to my post op apt on MOnday. They are going to tuck everything in the nurse said! LOL
I will be dermabonded since Im allergic to paper tape and bandaids.
I saw more s of his other patients today and I had to have my before pitures taken!
Now All I have to do now is wait for the surgery center to call so I can go pay them and Im set...
1 more week and I will be in the flat lands too.

Yay! It sounds like your PS is great....getting you prepared for next week. I am allergic to Vicodin, so I took darvoset. It was enough for me, so maybe the Vicodin will work! Don't hesitate to ask for something else though...sounds like your husband will help you on that! Have you taken your own before pics too? Make sure you do. You will LOVE comparing them!!!!!

How exciting! I loved reading what happened at your pre-op.
We have the exact same surgery time. I go in for my pre-op tomorrow.
How are you feeling now that's it so close. I feel 24/7 butterflies and it's all I can seem to think about. I'm still kind of in shock though because I just got my surgery date yesterday.

Yes, Im getting the butterflies and the surgery is always thre in back of my mind...Mostly completely on my mind at bed time.
I havent taken my own before pitures yet. Plan to do it nest week before surgery. I do plan to post my befores and afters. I feel that many of you helped me make my final decision by seeing your amazing results.
I want to be one of the vets to help others too weather Im a fast healer so healer have cmplication or am the one dariving 3 days later. I think its important that everyone who comes here gets a good education of what to exspect and know that everyone is different.

One question, blood draws etc-are these at the surgery center or hospital? And are they part of the surgery center fee? I will be ahving my TT and done at a regional hospital. Am just wondering if you have to keep writing check, after check, after check.

Had my pre-op done at the PS office and blood draw was done there too.
They said they would bill my insurance for the blood work.
I only wrote 1 check and that was for the consultation. The rest will be paid the day of surgery to the surgery center.
