I guess the new DR is helping but IT is very bad. I can email s. I just want to know if anyone has survived this and if it was as bad as mine and what the looks like now?
Thank You so much,

Answer:
Hi Elizabeth.. so sorry you're having to deal with this.. but I promise it will get better.
There have been quite a few ladies here, and Janice in paticular, who've gone through terrible bouts of this.. It's a long road to healing, but there is an end in sight and you can still come out looking fabulous..
Hopefully one of these gals will be along soon so that you can see for yourself. I'll try to find Janice's pics for you too..
Hang in there!
Answer:
Swebby, I was thinking of Janice too.
So sorry this happened to you. But apparently this necrosis thing isn't that uncommon
Like Swebby said, quite a few women here have dealt with necrosis, from mild to pretty severe. Janice has progression pics of the necrosis and it does definitely get better over time.
Sending you many positive healing vibes... I hope it takes a turn for the better soon.

Here's a link to all of her posts where she speaks about her experiences..
It looks like she removed her pics, but perhaps you can PM her and ask her for advice, etc..
Good luck..

Oh elisa...((soft hugs)) to you. I'm sorry you have to go through this one. It does happen, looks worse than it is. Several girls have gone through it, and later had the revised and had wonderful results. You will make it through.Take very good care of yourself, REST, eat well, plenty of , follow your s advise. (also if you ever feel unsure you can always make an appointment with your general doctor for a second opinion (I've done it a couple of times and they are more than happy to help) Vent to us if you need to. Good luck. Keep us posted.

Elizabeth, I'm so sorry for what you are going through.
I had a mild case of necrosis and while it is very unpleasant to deal with, it is not lifethreatening and you will make it fine. Patience is required for sure but time (and proper care) will take care of it. I am going in for revision in about three weeks as a result of my necrosis and I'll be glad to get this all behind me.
I hope you will be able to develop confidence in the PS on call. I'm sure your would only entrust his patients into the hands of a good, reputable collegue. Sounds as if he's taken rather aggressive steps....that's a good thing.
If you're like me, you would like to have been one of those that had an uneventful healing but the cards didn't fall that way. Just don't panic..go about your daily routine the best you can and don't dwell on it. Good luck and stay in contact. We'll help see you through it.
