HELP! Quick Decision!!!!!

Question:
OK-so my surgery is scheduled for Oct. 20 so I could loose those last 15 pounds but my surgeon-who is booked solid for months-just called and has a rare cancellation a week from this friday!

I am so freaked out! The reality of it is making me so nervous!

What should I do?!?!?!?!?
Answer:

This is your surgery and your life. You need to make the decision that fits your circumstances not the convenience of your ! If you aren't ready, for what ever reason, mentally or physically, you should wait. However, if it were me, I'm so ready, I'd go tomorrow. My scheduling problem is my work. I kept worrying about finding a good time to be away from work. Of course, I realized it would never be a good time so I pick a "least worse" time and scheduled it. Now, my time off is included in all my project planning and although I'd jump at the chance to go tomorrow, I'm okay waiting 1 month, 3 weeks and 4 days! But not a day longer!
Answer:

If it is convenient.... I'd DO IT!!!!! You can worry about those 15 lbs. later. You need to be good and healthy for the surgery.... I'd go for it. As for me.... I hate waiting so..... It's up to you but, if my schedule was good... I say.... give me that day!!!!
Answer:

The waiting was so hard for me. I just wanted to get the surgery over with and start the recovery. If you are able to make the preparations in time (buy supplies, line up help, get time off, etc.), I would go for it now!
Answer:

Oh man!! I would JUMP at the chance!! I want to lose another 20 pounds, but planning to do that after the surgery. My said it'll only enhance what's been done and has no problem with that. I've tried for 2 years to lose that gut fat and it's just not going anywhere!! Well, it will in 2 weeks! So I say...GO FOR IT!!
Answer:

I think I will. My Dr says the same about -that it will only enhance what he's doing. and there hasn't been any preassure to move the date-it was just an offer-in fact-they are also taking $1500 off the cost so YUP I am jumping in! My official date is now August 25, 2006! WOO HOO!
Answer:

If you can get your ducks lined up before friday week, I'd say worry about those 15 pounds after surgery. How exciting
Answer:

Absolutely, I'd do it. The waiting was the worst!
I've lost 30 lbs since the surgery 5 months ago, and it just looks better!
Answer:

I would do it!!!

I would have done it right away but I was in summer school and then now my director at work is on vacation so the day he comes back...the next day I go.
