For the first week and a half maybe even 2 1/2 weeks I wore dresses that were comfy and not clingy! I went very cheap, walmart style with the dresses! Even found a couple of cute shirts that I'm wearing with my pre op shorts!

Great Post! This has been driving me nuts. I went back to work today (2 weeks po) and like to wear jeans BUT most of my jeans are either too baggy now or, those that were tight before are too tight in the waist! So, I too went out and bought a couple of cheap dresses, actually really kinda cute. (half price summer stuff) but I have to have other choices so I think I am going to buy a few fitted blouses, where the baggy jeans with my under the blouses and over the jeans! Not a real cute look, but not too bad either! Of course, I don't have to meet the public much, I am the boss in my office, and all I really have to do is be prepared for court 2x a month. (I am a P.O.) I think I will just put on a jacket with the dresses for the first couple of months and see where I am then. I am determined to lose 10 lbs in the next 2 months so mabe, even with swelling, I can get into those tight jeans! Can only hope!

I am a hairdresser, and let me tell you that it gets HOT in the salon no matter what I wear with either the flexee or spanx, and both show through everything. I have been trying to wear skirts or jog pants. But nothing really fits right.
And then you can't tan to wear the summer clothes, so you either look white or orange from self tanner with no base tan. I actually cannot wait till summer is finished and get into clothes that cover up a little more.
I am sorry I did not wait until the winter to do this. But who knew that we would have such a hot summer?
Oh well, we all have to tell ourselves that the worst is over and WE ARE IN THE HEALING PROCESS NOW. And just help each other.

I found out that Scrubs don't have that elastic and you can adjust the drawstring. They aren't too expensive and will get you thru. I can't stand anything touching my tummy so it works!
