Question:
I suddenly got a really sharp pain in my belly right where I had some MR done with my revision. It hurts mostly when I move but I get a weird ache sometimes when Im just sitting. Have I messed it up? I seem to be able to feel a little knot where it hurts, the size of a raison.

It's probably just a muscle pain - doubtful that you popped anything. You could be feeling a suture, or depending where it is, a lymph gland.
Do you have a followup appointment on the horizon? Or you could give your ps a call on Monday.

I don't have an appointment coming up, but I will call monday. It feels like there is something really sharp in my stomach. Hopefully it is just a muscle pain.

I've experienced so many types of pain... and this is one of them.. I think our muscles play little tricks on us. It sounds like a muscle .. but it can't hurt to ask ps.... good luck!!!! Ronda

I recently popped a stitch. It was on Wednesday. I sneezed REALLY hard and it felt like..ummm.....You know those metal-button snap shirts? Well pretend you're opening the shirt after it has been completely button. The way is sounds and feels when you quickly unbutton it is what I felt. My PS said it was ok to pop a stitch because he put hundreds of them in. It did hurt a little bit.
I do hope you feel better. I hope I feel better too. I'm having pains EVERY WHERE: my swollen stomach hurts, my belly button, my incision hurts, my lower back hurts, my teeth/gums hurt from my braces, and my scalp hurts from having it cornrowed today, which took 6 hrs. Could you imagine sitting upright in a chair for 6 hours 13 days post op from a FTT/MR?
I need a STRONG pain pill to take away all of my pain

You're absolutely right. My mom told me tonight that I love pain. My hair is really short and I'm tender headed.

I feel much better, I was really worried. It doesn't sound like it is anything to worry about...just painful. It was that I had no pain after the first week and then suddenly at 5 weeks this! It must be overworked mucsles. I don't have very many sutures as it was a revision in a small area.

Hope, I'm glad you are not worrying now. When you call your PS on Monday, you'll feel more reassured. When I feel uncomfortableness or pain, which I still get a 6 wks post op, I just massage the area. Even at work, through my clothes, I will rub my belly or back. I also had of the back.
Artese, I'm glad you got your hair braided. It was painful but, just think how long it will last. It's always nice to have someone else do your hair. I checked out your albums. I see you went natural w/ your hair. I am considering doing that as well. I'm sure it was hard to cut your hair (my hair is long). You hair looks great and so does your belly. You have a beautiful family.
