Question:
I'm 3 weeks PO tomorrow, but went to the PS today and took my camera with me for when he took the tape off my .
I was surprised with the results and think it looks ok, glad it's not super red at the moment, but I guess that will come with time
We also spoke today about revisions, because I had so much excess , there is still some looseness across my belly. Mainly because he pulled down, not in from the sides. He said he might extend the cut from the orignal one around and up my back to just under that flabby bit at top on my back (just under where your bra sits) and then he can pull the skin out to the sides and tighten the up width ways across my tummy and also my back. We'll wait and see what things look like at 6months.
I was expecting revisions simply because of how bad and stretchy my stomach was before, and also because on day one there were still big pouches of fat on my lower back that are noticable and look a bit funny now that my belly is smoother.
All is good though, I'm happy with everything so far.
Anyway, I've put some pics in of my scar, and also some of me at 3 weeks PO afer my first exercise session, so I'm swollen . The next ones I'm going to try and take in the morning before the swelling sets in.

Answer:
Thanks everyone! I'm pretty happy with the results so far and can't wait to see it as it all settles down.
Kimberly The only thing I've done with my is keep tape on it from day one. The tape is removed once a week and replaced with fresh stuff. I shower with it on and use my hair dryer to dry the tape afterwards. I think keeping the tape on has helped to keep the line thinner. I've been taking 2 pure Vitaman E tablets daily (250IU each) since week 2, but there's been no massage or directly on the scar. I was told this week I need to keep the tape on for 3 months now, which doesn't bother me if it's going to make it thinner in the end.
Belle Aside from losing all my weight, this is the best thing I have ever done for myself. I'm thrilled with the results. I went back and had a good look at my before pics last night and it feels like a life time ago that I had that huge flap there. So many things have changed, like showering, dressing, walking, standing still, sitting, and best of all my back pain is gone. No regrets at all so far

MickeyB- I think you look fantastic! Your is great. It really does look flat compared to mine. I think I am about as far out of my surgery as you are. I wasn't aware of the taping, I wish my had told me about that! Thanks for mentioning the E. I'm gonna have to try it. I've been using , but it says use 3 times a day and I'm good if I use it 2 times.
I wouldn't worry so much about your back. I had to look hard to even see what you were talking about! It's funny how we start to notice other areas that we don't like after our surgery. Now I'm having issues with my thighs! lol
