Feeling like a freak of nature at 9 days out...

Question:
I just have to vent a little to people I know understand! I was originally an October girl but ended up cancelling my surgery because I just couldn't shake the feeling that I'd chosen the wrong guy. So I waited it out, found the right guy when we moved back to , and had a FTT, BL, & BA on April 12th.

I have read this board for months and honestly felt pretty prepared to deal with the swelling and those early weeks of not looking too pretty. Maybe I just have PMS but when I took my off today I just cried. I'm so swollen that I look 4 months pregnant. The pleat stitching my did doesn't help that look at all. I feel like Frankenstein! I'm praying that I don't have a dog ear on my left and that it's just the massive swelling. I know that it will literally be months before I see the end result, but somehow that knowledge hasn't kept me from having a pity party today.

On the other hand, I am pretty happy with how my breasts have turned out and I'm healing well in general so I'm just going to feel blessed about that today. I have uploaded a couple of s to my album. I am still hunched so I'm sure that doesn't help the squished belly look at all!

Answer:

I looked at your s and you look very good! You have just had some major surgery and swelling is just part of it but you look good. You may have some post op blues along with a bit of pms so just hang in there. I think you will feel better in a few days. Maybe just take a Yylenol PM and go to bed early tonight, get a good night's rest to keep the healing going strong.

Hang in there. You really do look good!
Answer:

Be patient, it has not even been 2 weeks, time will make a huge differencel I also had the pleat stitch and it is slowly smoothing out. Check out LoobyLoos pics, she had pleat stitch also and she looks amazing!!! The best , the best boobs!!! Think I may go to her surgeon in S. Africa if I ge more plastic sugery!!! Feeling a little blue is part of the process, but it will get better, remember, the best is yet to come!
Answer:

Thank you. I think it is a mixture of PMS and post-op blues. I will be so glad to get past this 1st 6 weeks!
Answer:

I think it's just swelling. When I was 10 days PO I was having the same feelings you are....I felt pretty down with my TT results although I knew they were better than what I had before. I have always been happy with the BA/BL results.

From 10 days PO to today (18 days PO) I do notice a difference in the TT/ swelling. Plus with you still hunching over it looks different. When I stretch myself (as much as I can) to stand upright, my tummy takes on a whole new look.

I think your results are great and in a few days you'll be feeling better about it. I think you're just having one of those funky post-TT blues days.
Answer:

I think that you are being way too hard on yourself. You look great!

I have what I thought was dog ears but now I look at myself and my progression s and I can see that it is finally going down. I had a lot of swelling and my waist is still swollen but I have improved soooooo much! You just need to give it more time. Keep taking those pics, you don't have to post them, but it for yourself so you can track your progress.
