Question:
I don't know about anyone else but I used to gain all of my weight in my belly. Now that it is flat and I have had the , my weight gain has definitely shifted to other areas. I have gained three pounds in the past week from careless eating and my upper body is flabby at the bra line. It looks horrible. I think I gained the entire three pounds in my upper back! EEWW. I have to be alot more careful about putting on extra weight because there is no sense in having a slender mid-section with a big load of flab hanging over the back of my new bikini top. Just thought I'd give the newbies a little FYI.
Answer:
OMG, I am so right there with you. I feel my backside is doube the thinkness it was before my TT!!! I am so self conscious of it along with my hips that over hang any pants I wear.
I will be having a revision after I am 6 months post op but I just want to feel and look normal NOW!!!
Does anyone know of any excersizes to do to get rid of the extra weight on the backside?????
Answer:
I had a trainer once that said you can't "spot" train to get fat off. The only way is cardio.
I really don't want to believe that tho'.
Sweetslover, thanks for the info. I have been craving candy for the last week and I'm going through bag after bag....someone stop me.
Answer:
So if people gain weight in the upper abdomen and back, do people lose it there when they lose weight?
Answer:
Just remember last hired first fired, you should lose it in the order you gain it.
I just found a great herb, that is awesome for stopping the craviing for a sweet tooth (also great for diabetics) Gymnema is the name. I start to take that when I get sugar cravings especially at that time of the month and it really helps to stop the cravings. It also helps keep insulin levels at a good even level, and has been proven to help diabetics to get blood sugar levels in the normal range. So if you are craving those sweets.....
On another note about that spot reduction, ps is the only answer there. You have to decrease your body fat all over in order to see improvements, but as all of us know there is only so much you can do. But remember, fat looks much better over toned muscles!! Good luck!

Thanks Healthymomma and may I ask where you get this herb? I looked online and see many places to order it just not sure which website is legit.
Thanks!
Answer:
Does that herb come in a pill form? I always worry the first time I try any new pills because some of them give me the worst heartburn! I have been buying bags full of hard candy, especially licorice flavored. I have been trying to pop a few of those to hold back my sweet tooth cravings but it is sooooo hard. As you can tell from my name, I looooooovvvvvveeeee candy. I'm talking about stuff like jellybeans, skittles, gummybears. All that crap that is nothing but wasted calories. Lately though, I have been a Pizza Hut junkie! I can't get enough of those damn breadsticks. And now, they have started serving deep fried apple pies like you used to get at McDonalds years ago. What a temptation. I can't stay away! I have to eat there once a week. If I can drop the 3 pounds and maintain at that weight, I should be okay. This weird weight gain has me very freaked out.
