Hi I'm new here. I live in . I have had my first consultation for FTT,MR and BA in St. Louis. I'm gettting ready to schedule my surgery this week. Just wondering if anyone had their surgery in St. Louis. It's been frighting thinking about recovery. I have 2 children ages 4yrs and 10 months.I will have help with the kids but I'm afraid of missing out while I'm recovering. There just never seems to be a right time. I plan on scheduling for mid May.I'm so excited but very ed. I'm 5'4 and 154 lbs.I have a stomach that looks very pregnant!I'm so emotional everytime someone asks me when I'm due,or when I'm holding my 10 month old and they ask if I'm expecting again.Wondering if anyone had surgery in St. Louis? Who was your Dr.Are you happy?And what was your price quote?

Hey Stac5, welcome aboard, I lived in also but my PS is in St. Louis, his name is Dr. Wm Huffaker, with the ST. Louis Cosmetic Surgery Inc located at 17300 N. Outer 40 Road in Chesterfield.Mo. There are 3 PS working there together. There are 2 ladies that post here that have their procedures performed there. Requyot went on the 23rd, and STLGirl, they both had DR. Lund as their Dr. Go back to pg 4 & 5 and read the post from hopeful22 to STLGirl and my post from RaineTime to Requyot on p5 well wishes to her. Hi I live in Rolla , but will be using Dr Young in St.Louis. I was a nervous wreck last week with my FTT coming up, but he is great. I have talked to him and his nurses three times this last week, and they truly are the greatest set of people....they have reassured me and made me feel like #1 priority to them.
I understand your concern with re-cooperation and small children. I have 5 kids ages 8,5,4,3 and 2. So I too am a little nervous. My FTT is on this coming Friday, but I have plenty of help, and my husband is the best man out there, so I have no fear that he will be there for me. I too just want the recovery period over with so that I can be on the floor wrestling with my little ones again.
I believe there are several good surgeons in the st.louis area, however I chose Dr young because he has 20+ years of experience under his belt, and also because he has fought on my behalf to get insurance coverage. I have done quite a bit of research on a few s in this area...the St.louis cosmetic surgeons would be my #2 choice...they also sound awesome or Dr. William Hart. Good Luck to you. Hi, I am in IL (obviously by my name)...I chose Dr. Hart in St Louis (St. John's Mercy) because he has been in the business for 32 years. He loves what he does! My cousin is getting her done by him on April 13th and My TT/MR/ will be on June 5th. We went to the consult together (free) and he answered our questions for two hours!! He is really funny too. He was in St. Louis Magazine as one of the best surgeons of St. Louis just this past year. I decided to brave the summer heat because I don't have anyone to shuttle my kids to school. Also, my brother is getting married in the caribbean in January! Good luck to you and stay in touch!
