If there aren't very many then they could just be cherry angiomas. These could have been there already only you didn't notice them.
Because you have no other symptoms it sounds like these spots are harmless.
Keep a watch on how you are feeling for the next few days - headaches, stomach aches, etc. If any symptoms show up please visit your doctor. Macular rashes could indicate the onset of Lyme disease or Meningitis.

I went to the doctor for spots on my arm, they were like blothches. Turns out I have psoriasis and eczema. It's weird though, because my arm isn't itchy and the skin isn't flakey, but it's red and rashy.
I have really bad dermatitis on my scalp though. The dandruff is insane. Skin sucks!
