Something is desperately wrong with my fiancee. He's having chest pains, a slight difficulty breathing, pain in his lower middle abdomen (near his naval), hurts him to cough, and to stand. He's got a burning sensation going on as well. His nailbeds and lips don't appear blue, but he tells me his left arm hurts up near his shoulder. We don't see any unusual swelling or reddness, but he says that his stomach feels tight. I've taken him to the ER once before, and they said he appeared normal, but this really doesn't sound normal to me. Does anyone have any idea what could be wrong here?

Take him to the ER immediately! It could be something harmless, but it could also be a heart attack. You don't want to take the chance. Much better to go and find out that it's not than to wait and find out too late that it is. Good luck.

I took him to the ER once about 3 months ago for the same symptoms, and they told me everything looked normal, and sent us on home. He's had these symptoms for quite a while, and its painful to just stand here watching him suffer and not know what to do.
Could it really be a heart attack, in a guy as young as 19?

Have him checked for Lyme disease at MDL or Igenex. Lyme symptoms can come ,hide and come back again.
