Hi!
What does it look like? My moms hairdresser thinks she has one. (we have hairdresser that comes to our house), And i *think* it looks like one too, im not 100% positive tho..
When i saw it, when i got home from work, it was just below her eye, and was blacky blue... about 1/2 hour ago, there is more red in it. (like its healing?) She just got it today.. it does nt hurt
does it sound like a burst/broken blood vessel?

it is.A bruise it what results from a broken blood vessel.Depending on just how deep it goes will dictate how fast your body absorbs the old leaked blood and it heals.nothing to worry about really.Marcia

The vessels around the eye area are very sensitive as the skin there is very thin.She could have just inadvertantly bumped it and not even remembered it as it really did not hurt or anything.She could have also done this in her sleep and not remembered it either.she should however, have some blood work done to see if her clotting factors are working properly.i often see bruising somewhere on my body and have no clue as to when or how these came about.they just appear.Marcia
