Question:
I have very dry lips and I can't stand to have the rough skin so I pick and peel at them until they bleed. It's a very annoying habit that I have (my mother and sister both do it and i hate it!) and i really want to stop. Does anyone know what might cause this and what i can do. I always keep chapstick but as a female that doesn't always work with lipstick. Help!

try using something like carmex. carmex is really more for cold sores, but i find they keep my lips moist. good luck

Try Burts Bees Wax. It is excellent for dry lips. It has medication in it that carmex or other chapsticks don't have. You can probably find it at a Cracker Barrel store. It will smooth out your lips so you won't have any skin to pick

hey, i go through the same thing during season changes.. my lips get dry and are annoying and when i get nervous i will pick at them, and they are horrible.. although i found a new thing to work.. get VASALINE.. just continiously put it on there.... even before you go to bed put alot on there and when you wake up your lips are very moist and soft.. keep using it daily, and eventually your lips should go back or be in better shape! good luck
