Question:
I wake up in the middle of night with a lot fluid in my mouth, but for some my throat is dry. I experience weird head pains too. Then I get up and it goes away after awhile. What could it be?
Answer:
It could be that you're not swallowing while you're sleeping and the saliva is pooling in your mouth (hence the dry throat). I get that sometimes and wake up drooling on my pillow. A weird sensation to say the least
I don't know what the weird head feelings would be except it could be from your pillow or position while you're sleeping.
Do you get enough water during the day? Do you tend to have salty foods before bedtime? Dehydration is a big factor in how our bodies function either awake or while sleeping.
I hope it doesn't persist for you....
quincy
Answer:
I've also heard and read that excessive drooling is due to dehydration. Careful about drinking too much water if you don't drink much now though, increase your amount weekly and make sure your urination output is equal to what your taking in. Also when you reach 8to9cups a day you need to replace the minerals you are flushing out of your body with all the water.
