ok, i'm going to see a gyno about this but i was just wondering if anyone else has experienced this before or know what it could be.
ok, for my past two periods my blood has been brown on the first two days, and then it gets redder and redder, but normally, if anything, period blood is more likely to be brown on the last couple days rather than the first. the cramping that I get has always been really bad, so nothing has changed with that. any ideas?

It's totally normal for the first day or two of blood to be brown and for the blood to then get redder. How old are you? Are you still a teenager? If so, it's normal for your period to still be changing. If not, I guess it's a little weird that your pattern suddenly shifted, but mine has been as you described for as long as I can remember.

well, i'm 19. i called into this clinic to just ask a question about it and the lady said i should make a doctor apt. right away. and made it sound serious. i was scared that there was a problem with my ovaries or something.....hmm..it's never been that brown like that before. but thank you for calming my nerves.
