Thanks for your concern people! Truth is, I am a dangerously laid back person. Hence I thought I'd write a message about it. I'd like to remidn all of you who doubted that I could swallow a spoon at all that it was a tea spoon - tres petit! Anyway I got off light cos it wouldn't go past my stomach sphincter (or whatever), so I'm just waitin for the scar on my tummy to heal!

Here in the USA an actual teaspoon is not that little and would not be that easy to swallow which why there was all this concern. Posting to get a rise out of people is not that way to use this board.

Well teaspoons here in the uk are very small, mine are very small indeed, come on now how big are you tea bags?

Our teaspoons measure 6" long, with a 2" long 'mouthpiece' (?) -- a bit difficult to swallow.
And our teabags measure 10" (just kidding).
