Pre-Op

Question:
Okay I'm going to document my journey into plasty. My surgery is scheduled for March 21st with Dr. Kenneth Barazza in Jackson, MS.
This is what I look like presently for those of you who are interested, just copy and paste this link:

When I was a teenager my nose got broken during a softball game and I never got it repaired. Hell, I was a teenager, what did I care? Well years later, it's come to haunt me. My nose has decided it wants to exit stage right. It's become more and more prevalent over the years. Time to handle up on this particular problem. I'm nervous, hopefull, and excited all rolled into one. I'm in the medical profession and I know WAY too much about what happens in the operating room and in PACU (post anethesia care unit). This is a case where ignorance is . O well, here's my first post. I would be interested to hear from anyone who has advice, experience (good or bad) or words of wisdom.
Looking forward to hearing from y'all.
I will keep you informed of the happenings pre and post surgery.
Answer:

Good luck I am also having surgery on March 21 with Dr Davis in FL....this is my primary.
Answer:

If I knew exactly what happens in the operating room I would probably be running the other direction sing.

My surgery is one week before yours and I understand the nervous/excited feeling. Last night I dreamed that my surgeon suddenly retired 4 days before I was scheduled... lol weird.

It seems like a lot of people are having surgery on the 21st (some sort of lucky day I didn't know about?) so you will have lots of company on the board during recovery!

Good luck!

Answer:

March 21st in Jackson, MS as I said before. Makes me feel better that I won't be going through this alone. I'm hoping March 21st hold some sort of healing and speedy recovery properties since many of us picked that da for a reason. Hey they say everything happens for a reason. Anyone want to share pics or stories about how they come to need/want plasty? I would love to hear your stories!
Answer:

Good luck with your surgery. I looked at your pics. Your rhinioplasty should be pretty straightforward.
