LITERS to pounds

Question:
can we convert?

What would 2.2L be in pounds weight? I was told not to expect a change on the scale....I don't understand that. Surely, fat removed means weight lost? Can anyone explain? PS said 2.2L was a lot so surely there has to be SOME evidence of reduction? My was all on my abs and a teeny bit on my lower flanks.

So far, I am SO bloated that I don't look ANY different. I think I am going to take a LONG time to see any effects since I retain water so easily (well did so in my pregnancies) and I am so impatient and a bit ed that somehow this didn't work (is that possible??)
Answer:

1 litre=2.2 lbs

so

2.2 litres = 4.4 lbs

(approximately)
Answer:

So does that mean I should notice a 4.4lbs loss on the scale?

Thanks
Answer:

Unfortunately no. Just about every PS will tell you that is for contouring, not . In fact, most on these boards will tell you they gained weight immediately after lipo. I gained 10 pounds, but it was all fluid and I was back to my pre-op weight within a week. I'm down 20 pounds since my surgery because I didn't want to take a chance at ever seeing my saddle bags again and have completely changed my eating habits.

Even though my scale said I was the same weight at 2 weeks post-op, I could fit into all of my old clothes SO much better than before. That's all I really care about. The scale can be your enemy right after lipo - don't let that be your guide. Take a lot of s before as well as your measurements.
Answer:

s are SOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO the best way to watch your progress!!! Be sure and get some in the pants you love but hate because they show what you dont like BECAUSE AFTER they will look great! Some of my pre op clothes are even frompy now....to big. I went from a tight 12 to and 8 sometimes 10 because I still swell but I too have changed my eating. The scale sucks after but just remember you can keep swelling for up to 6 months or more! AHHHHHHHHHHHHHH BUT its all so worth it!
Take care!
Answer:

Thanks all.

I am not seeing any diference really in pis yet. Its day 6. I will take some tomorrow on my 1 weeks " anniversary"and mark the differences on a weekly basis.

Whats the best way to take your own pics? LOL

Hold the camera out towards you or take it in the mirror?
Answer:

Some people take a of their reflection in a mirror (but the flash can mess with the results - turn the lights way up and turn the flash off)

I use the timer function on my camera and set it on something several feet away. Then I know I'm getting the same/similar angles and distance which helps me see the changes. WHen all s are different, sometimes that makes it harder to see the changes.
