Liposuction and Pregnancy

Question:
Hi there,
I was wondering is anyone here has had any experience having suction and then becoming pregnant soon after (I mean within a year of the op)...have anyone had this and then gained back the fat they lost through lipo?

I am considering lipo on my inner thighs, I have a major fat problem there that is just upseting beyond belief b/c of the chaffing...I wear through jeans in just a few months! I am not particulary overweight, for some reason fat deposits there on me...My hips are also very high (my bones) and the fat that deposits there too could also use some lipo...so those two areas are my possibilty.

But, I'm also considering having a baby in the next year or two....I'm worried that I'll spend the money and gain it all back with ....
Any advice?

I'm also very concerned about all these stories about swelling! I don't know if I could deal with 2 months of wearing sweats because of my job! I have to look presentable, and not sure if I will fit in my clothes with all that swelling!

Any advice would be great!
Thanks,

Generra.

Hi,
I did a little research online as no-one replied to my post !!
It seems as if somehow you should retain most of the shape you had before when you've lost your baby weight.
I guess it was something to do with you don't have so many fat cells in those places as before, so it is harder to gain weight again in those places, if you have been eating sensible and exercising.

I would still love to hear some experiences from the board though!

Anyone?
Answer:

I am past the child bearing age but from what you have said I would certainly do the . and hormones adds weight differently. And you plan on getting back to your pre preg weight , right?

eat right and exercise now and during your pregnancy and I'll bet you will be fine and chafe free

Thanks for your advice!
I am going ahead with the surgery!

If I get pregnant, I just have to be very careful not to gain to much weight, just what is normal and I can still excerise....

I hope those inner thighs are gone before long!

Just remember that prgnancy is not the time for dieting of any sort but to eat good food, avoid the junk and keep active:) Actually advice we all should be following...at least most of the time (g)
