Saddlebags

Question:
I am 4 months post-op from having a FTT/MR/ of the hiprolls and seems to be healing very well. I have seen a drastic change in my tummy, abs, and lower back but now I'm battling the saddlebag problem. They were probably always there just didn't know it because of all the other problem areas. Are there specific exercises to reduce this area or should I look into having lipo of the inner/outer thighs and can someone give me an idea of the cost of that? Thanks!
Answer:

Hi Chumbles,
Unfortunately, you will not be able to do much with exercise in this area. The saddlebags are caused by fat deposits. What you will probably find is that the saddlebags will become more noticable if you put on any weight because the fat will go there now rather than to the areas you had ed. I had the same problem only the other way 'round. I had my saddlebags removed about 4 years ago and noticed that afterwards I started to develop a small roll around by lower abs and my inner thighs were holding fat more. So I got those areas done 2 weeks ago. I know that now, if I put any weight on, it will probably go to my lower back area or some other place. (I wouldn't be so lucky as to have it go to my boobs of course )

Sorry there wasn't a magic, cheap solution, but I think that if you have a saddlebag problem now, it will only continue to bother you and will probably get worse. If you can, best to have the damn things lipoed if you can and be done with them!

chumbles, at 6 months head back for revisions/fine tuning and add the saddlebags
Answer:

On 10-04-2005 I had a ftt,mr, and hysterectomy. I am loving my tummy but now I see other areas that are full of flaws. On Mar 22 I go back in for aggressive lipo of the lateral stomach, flanks, s, saddlebags and arms. My cost, $5400.00. My surgery on 10-04 was $6400.00.

Being left with saddlebags after a FTT/MR/ wouldn't be considered a revision would it...guess I'm not sure what a revision is. I am very happy with all the areas I had lipoed it's just now that those areas (hiprolls/upper & lower abs) have been greatly reduced my thighs look HUGE and the saddlebags are now VERY noticeable. Can anyone give me a guestimate on how much lipo would cost for that? I spent right at $14,000 for the FTT/MR/Lipo of the Hiprolls so I can't believe I'm even considering more but if diet & exercise won't fix the problem the lipo will! My hubby is wanting to buy a boat so my bargaining time is right now. ha!

I am sure you can find a little area that needs fine tuning or smoothing..then add the other lipo on..bet it is greatly reduced.
