Question:
I just got my stage 2 and is it supposed to feel this tight on the stomach? My said I could transition form wearing my stage one all day and night to wearing a body shaper during the day and my stage one at night. I tried this and the body shaper didn't give me enough support and I would be very sore at the end of the day. So I ordered a small Rainey stage 2. I had a medium stage one but it was big in places so I ordered a small.
I just want to know if I should be concerned at how tight it feels on my stomach.
Thanks in advance
Answer:
It's not the most glamorous thing, but I put a couple of maxi pads where the edge seems to cut into the . Makes a world of difference! I only seem to need it in the front in order to find relief.

Hi,
When I first got my stage 2, after I tried it on I thought I was going to have to throw it out (also a ) It was so tight around the top I ordered a small, but I only have a 24.5 inch waist so it wasn't because the was too small, just Realllly uncomforatable. I never thought I would be able to wear it for an hour, much less 24/7! But sure enough after a couple days it was no problem. Probably for two reasons 1. I became used to it, and 2. it must have stretched. Either way, I now wear it 24/7 and don't really notice it is on. I do sometimes wear a body shaper if it is a special occasion and I need to because of what I am wearing...but I do notice I am more sore after wearing it. I am 6 weeks p/o this Thrs. of i/o thigh and flanks. I am using my pain as an indicator of how long I am supposed to wear my garment. Since I am less sore in the Stage 2 than the body shaper, I will continue to wear it until, I am just as comforatable in the body shaper as the Stage 2 (when ever that will be!!)

When I did wear a stage 2 , it rubbed me so hard (I didn't feel it, just the tightness) that by the time I got home that evening, I noticed a red spot on my underwear (wore them over it) and saw a crusted spot on the left side of my incision. When I took the suit off, it had opened up my incision a little and I got ed, so I returned it. The next was a and that sucker squeezed me around the waist so tight, I had to put tissue around the waistband and had to continuously add more tissue for padding and strategically place them around the band.
Hurt, hurt, hurt. I put a deep red band around my waist like a rubber band would around a finger. That went back, too. My third and final started coming apart in the seams. Geez! That's when I resigned not to wear one anymore.
I wear a light Leggs girdle that comes under the breast bone (sternum) and down to the knees. It's comfortable and I look smooth in clothes.
I wish I could have found the right garment here, but I did what was necessary. I even found some comfortable Flexees.
