Question:
I'm wondering if he really did my u/l ab . I'm bruised HORRIBLY on my back and the back of my thighs and there is not a bruise on my tummy. I do have lumps and bumps on my abs but I guess that could be from the TT. Do any of you have brusing in some places and not in others that were lipo'd? I have to call my PS today anyway so I'll see if I can ask.
Answer:
i had upper and lower ab and no bruises on my tummy at all.
Answer:
Hi Riley,
I didn't have any ab at all, but did have it on my hips, flanks, and thighs. I can say that I am pretty badly bruised in the thigh area, but hardly at all in the hips and flanks. I have been told by my ps that certain areas are more likely to bruise than others. If you feel lumpy in the abdominal area, that is a pretty good sign that you had lipo there.

Answer:
Hi Riley,
I had lower abs done and not a bruise. The tightness should settle in after 5-6 days and you'll know its been done.

Answer:
Having no bruising doesnt mean you didnt have ! I didnt have any bruising at all and I had lipo to my waist and flanks with my TT...small amount of upper ab lipo as well. I just had revision on the 19th and no bruising at all. My PS was pretty surprised cause he was "out of control" as he says and I should be purple. My chin/jaw had no bruising either!
Answer:
I too had u/l abs done and NO bruising in that 'd area, but boy they were sore and burned....

Answer:
I had to call the PS anyway so I asked about my abs and yes...they did do there. I have two more knots today so I guess it's pretty obvious.
I have an appointment on Monday and asked for them to go over the details with me. I want to know how much they took out of each area, how much off the ol' tum and how much MR was needed.
Answer:
I had in/outer and knees done. I was very badly bruised on my outer thighs and knees not a bruise on my inner. But the are lumpy bumpy. My arms also did not bruise at all. And they have the worst roller coaster bumps!
Answer:
Lilyup, did your lumps eventually go away? If so, did they just sort of disappear on their own or did you do anything special? I feel like I should be massaging them but frankly, I hardly like to look at myself right now. Hopefully it's okay for me to leave everything as is until I look a little more normal.
Answer:
Ask for the opertaing room report this has all the info. Ask if he took pics of the fat or skin...then get copies its fun to look back at what once was there and is no longer!
