anyone diagnosed w/atypical follicular lymphoid hyperplasia?

Question:
I'm very sceptical of having had an excisional biopsy of an enlarged node on right side of neck under jaw line come back as " atypical follicular lymphoid hyperplasia". Not sure if I already posted this. memory is lacking.

have others here who've had excisional biopsies ever have the node come back again in the same spot? there were other nodes along a chain by the carotid arterie and the surgeon removed the largest one. It measured 4 x 6 cm large. my dr told me he really thought it looked like cancer and had it sent to two different labs to have it analyzied incase the first one was misread.

to this day I still worry about this lymph node that has come back. I've mentioned it to my primary dr. as well as other specialtists that I've been to for other reasons. I've had unexplained weight loss awhile ago and had gyno surgery to remove a bad ovarian cyst as well as the rest of the female reproductive system.
I started looking better and even put some pounds back after the course of yr from the surgery but am really feeling horrible everyday.
I get tired by noon time at work and is even worst after eating. all I want to do when I come home from work is fall into bed. I have no energy to cook like I used to and find cleaning the house a huge chore. I don't have the stamina like I used to.
I was referred to a disease specialtist after the lymph node biopsy to see why my lymph nodes were growing. he did an aids test, which came back negative and I never went back for another followup.
I am having intense deep itching on my back, arms and upper thighs after getting out of the shower. I can't make the water too hot so take warm showers. If I sit in the sun and my skin gets hot, the itching begins.
I dont have dry skin becasue this has been going on for over a yr.
I didn't tell anotehr dr after telling an old dr this who told me to just put lotion on and that the same thing happens to her in the winter time.
this has been happening thru out the entire four seasons.
my throat hurts slightly and my lymphnode feels about the same size it was when the first one was taken out.
it waxes and wanes and on the days it's huge.
3 drs have all said the same thing" don't worry about it if it doesn't keep growing" or if you WANT me to remove it to make you worry less about it, I'll do it. which makes me feel like he thinks I'm looking for trouble. so I told him I trust his judgement.
can it be old scar tissue? and does scar tissue wax and wane?
the right side of my arm pit has been sore on and off for weeks now and I have to wait for my mamo in Sept. it's a dull achey feeling that comes and goes and I can palpate a node there. I once had a ct scan that read there's nodes enlarged to 2 cm under both arms but no one seems to be concerned.

I have a gut instinct that something is just not right and I don't feel right. for a long while now. and it's only getting worst but I don't know if it's my mind doing this or is there really something going on.

has anyone here been diagnosed with what mine was and then it wind up becoming lymphoma at a different time much later in the yrs?

It's not in my mind that this node is big and why the heck aren't the drs concerned about it especially with the diagnosis being atypical?
they're not trained about lymphoma's and only are lymphoma specialtists up to date with the 30 different sub types of lymphomas that are on the rise.
plus the fact that lymphomas are difficult to diagnosis and it's not uncommon for people to thru yrs of having a lymphoma grow at a slow rate.

what would you all do if you were in my shoes? do I pursue this from another dr? do I go to an ENT? do I go back to my surgeon who I have to see anyway in a month or so and tell him to PLEASE take it out?
or do you think I"m over exaggerating?

I know this post is long but it was difficult for me to explain the history to you and not confuse you. I'm confused.

Answer:

Since you are saying you are confused, you might want to sort out what it is you are wanting from a diagnosis. Are you wanting to relieve current symptoms? Is there any other reason that you could be tired such as working too much, repetitive work that would stress that area of your arm? How would your life improve by going through treatment with harsh chemicals. How would your life be adversely affected? Do you want to take action, or just discuss the options with some one who cares? All of those questions have to be answered by you. All anyone else can do is listen.
Answer:

You ,mentioned that you have female sugery. Are you on any HRT they say that it can make you feel better.
If you do not feel like you doctor is listening when you talk . Try talking louder. It is you body your insurance, your life. Insist that he will do this or get a referral.
