Hey D
I was wondering how your brother made out with chemo. I do my CHOP and rituxan in the same day. It only takes 6 hours. But what else do I have to do until my onc lets me go back to work. Then I have to go back the next day for the shot of Nulasta. IT is to help with the white bood cell count that will drop on about day 8-14 after his chemo it automatically kicks in. The Nulasta may also make his bones hurt for a few days. Not bad though, and tylenol helps. After the 2nd shot it usually stops. I know it makes my tennis elbow act up.

Any way lets all have a good worry free weekend.

We deserve it

Take care

Hi Beckb46

I wish that I could give you a hug, you are going through so much, and I can't believe how positive you always are, most of you are all positive. I think having a forum like this is a great idea, and it offers some support .

I hope your weekend went well, take care.

Best wishes Susie xx

Hi there,

I Was with my family for the weekend. He is doing good. Thank God. He looks good and has an appetite as well. His eyes looked a little weird to me but I assume that was from the steroids (almost as though his pupils were dilated). His treatment went well took an hour and a half for the chemo. Rituxin was the day before. He goes back Feb. 14th for his second round. He is eating well and sleeping (they gave him a pill for that). Thank you so very much for your support and concern for my brother in law and my family. He is holding up well so far. My sister is amazing...very strong woman and although she is probably upset she is holding her own. In addition to my brother in law not being well, my nephew who is 16 is not well.....physically and mentally challenged so it is not an easy life for her at all but she has taken it on and is doing an amazing job all around. We are all ready to fight this head on...especially my brother in law.

BeckyB -
How are you after your treatments? How are you feeling? Is this treatment number 2 or 3 for you? Would you pleae explain the diet and what it is supposed to do to help? I like to pass this info to my brother in law and sister.

Fairy-lights?

Any news on your results yet? Please let us know!

Thank you and we all should keep praying!

BeckyB....

Unfortunately my Brother in law stayed home yesterday as he was vomiting in the morning. Last night when I spoke to him he said he wasn't feeling well. He just couldn't explain it....achy all over, etc. Just didn't feel well. Can you tell me if when you started your treatments the doctors/nurses told you what symptoms to expect? He had his treatment a week ago. He thought he would feel it sooner..............could it be something else is wrong? He went to work today but I think he feels he has to financially go to work..................I am worried.

Thank you!

D
